ABOUT

The Southern Pullover is a lightweight, crochet sweater that features a flattering V neckline and fitted, set-in sleeves. This timeless garment is made up of beginner stitches that are used in a way that make the finished piece drapey and breathable. Plus, it can be worn by itself or layered, making it a great for every season!

The pattern offers easy to follow, color-coded instructions for sizes XS-XL, has helpful diagrams/example photos so there's no confusion, and includes options like V-neck, boat neck, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, and long sleeve.

DIFFICUTLY

Although this sweater is completely filled with beginner stitches, it is rated easy/intermediate since you have to seam set-in sleeves. But I truly believe anyone can make it since there are detailed instructions and helpful diagrams that show you just how to do it!

BEHIND THE NAME

As I'm sure many of you know, here in the south part of North America, it's hot and humid most of the year. So, after creating this airy top, I named it after the area that I thought would appreciate it the most!
