ABOUT This simple, seamless pillow is a fantastic gift for any little and is the perfect addtion to any bedroom or reading nook! Babies and "big" kids alike will find the shape interesting and adore how soft it is.

TIP: Make 1 pillow per kid. I didn't and we now have to remember who's turn it is each night 😅

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Guys, this adorable, little pillow was not always so...well... adorable. There was a LOT of trial and error. I mean, just take a look at this attempt. (And feel free to laugh. I know I did!)

Absolutely hideous, right?! It looked like a really ugly, awkward, grey Patrick Star.

Anywho, although this fail was quite humorous, it was also REALLY not. In all honesty, I was freaking out! This project was a collaboration with Lion Brand Yarn. Like.. I couldn't give them this?! They would NEVER work with me again.

So what did I do? I showed my other half, Kyle, and reached out to my Insta friend, Sandra (@nomadstitches). And after MUCH laughter, they each gave great advice. 5 amputations later... voila! An adorable star was born!

1. Star is worked in the round, from the center out
